Two Delaware Students Compete for Google Logo Prize

Two Delaware students are among 40 finalists in Doodle 4 Google, a national art competition to design a Google logo.

Wilmington Christian School junior Emily Dorsey, daughter of Brian and Kathleen Dorsey of Newark, and Sanford School third-grader Grace Para, daughter of Raymond Para and Barbara Kanter of Landenberg, Pa., learned Monday that they are in the running for the top prize -- a $15,000 college scholarship, a $25,000 technology grant for their school and opportunity to have their artwork displayed on the Internet search engine's home page.

Their work was chosen from more than 28,000 drawings from children representing all 50 states.
