TherapyCharts is a web-based electronic health record system for psychologists. It was important that psychologist be able to immediately guess the service that TherapyCharts provides based on the logo alone, so the logo features an illustration that hybridizes a laptop computer with a file folder and the greek symbol on the front of computer screen is a symbol frequently associated with psychology.

It's not a traditional logo in that there's a lot of detail that doesn't translate at smaller sizes and limited colors but the brand gets around this by breaking the logo into three component parts: the laptop+filefolder, the name, and the "TC" tag in the red box. When the TherapyCharts brand needs to be displayed at smaller sizes (below 150x150 pixels) or in black and white, the laptop+filefolder gets dropped from the logo. By mixing and matching the three components the imagery of the brand is established enough so that in special use cases, like a favicon, just one component can be used (the "TC" tag in the case of a favicon) without losing brand recognition.
