Today at our Friday Fonts, we invite you to download and play with a few fonts from BVFonts. Below is a small selection from their free fonts collection - feel free to browse and buy some of their commercial fonts as well. Enjoy!
Designed as a bitmap font using Fontlab's Bitfonter and then converted to an outline font. Synthetique has been optimized for on screen display at 17 pts. When your using this font at 17 pts be sure that anti-aliasing (smoothing) is turned off in your graphics program. Otherwise, I recommend using this font at 24 pts or above with font smoothing on. It looks great printed at any size.
A textface that has the look of a primer worksheet for teaching handwriting. Print Clearly is available in three styles Regular, Dashed and Bold.
This slab serif font was hand-drawn to an extreme weight. There are two fonts, Giant Head & Giant Head Two. They are layered on top of each other in your graphics program or if you like just use the regular version.
A bold and old school graffiti style font, that's phat! What makes this font unique is that the letters overlap and that's what gives it that hand sprayed look.
An experimental unicase-sans serif typeface. Some of the characters are leaning to the left or right and that was the seed that began the idea for this font.
